About Dr. Zayde
Dr. Zayde is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her doctorate from The George Washington University and completed her internship and postdoctoral training at the Yale University School of Medicine. She is the Associate Director of Internship Training and the Director of the Mentalization-Based Parenting Program at Montefiore Medical Center, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Zayde is on the executive committee of the Emerging Adulthood Special Interest Group of Division 53 of the American Psychological Association. She sees a small number of patients privately and by appointment only.
Dr. Zayde's areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Trauma, Attachment Difficulties, Family Conflict, and the transition to Emerging Adulthood (navigating college and early career challenges, independent living, creating healthy romantic and peer relationships). Dr. Zayde feels strongly about the importance of parent support and guidance, and works with parents to better understand the emotions underlying their child's behavior.
